Week One: wild, wet, wonderful!

Hello again Officeworks gang!

This is an update of how the first week of campaigns went. What a week! Our Queensland teams were almost underwater, so had a lot of last minute shuffling around of activities and plans (where do you put a whole lot of cardboard boxes when everything is wet??!). But they kept their enthusiasm up through the damp, and had a whole world of fun, and found that people were still crazy about stationery even when it rained!

Our WA teams had the opposite in weather last week- nothing but sunshine! They too were popular among the students with all the Officeworks goodies - I told you we'd attract a crowd!

A couple more were ramping up in NSW too- UTS had a marathon second stall day that went into the evening!

In the mean time, here are a few photos of some of our teams who have already started on stall days. Check out the Officeworks enthusiasm! For those of you who have yet to have their stall day, this is a great opportunity to see some great examples of stalls and be inspired- there are different vibes, different styles, but each of them use the Officeworks colours and posters and themes to really make their stall stand out a mile. How good do they look!

We have finalised our NATIONAL CAMPAIGN BONUS!

This has been a tricky process for me, but I can now announce what the major bonus will be for the Overall National Campaign Bonus.

Things are all starting to happen now for all your stall days. Team Murdoch was the very first team, who had their stall day last Thursday, and stole the show with some fantastic-flavoured cupcakes and bright blue bows to decorate themselves along with their Officeworks shirts! Their limbo comp also seemed to draw in quite the crowd.

This week the pace is quickening with more uni teams having stall days, so exciting times!

And last but not least, we should name this blog, and announce the winner of the very first Officeworks bonus for best blog name!

Congratulations to Elynne and Katie from QUT who came up with our blog name The Office Hub, you've won yourselves a $20 Coles Myer voucher to spit between you! That's a fun little way to start of the campaign wouldn't you say!

Congratulations new ambassadors!

A big hello to this year's campaign ambassadors for Officeworks and SMA 2013!

You are a big bunch of eager and fresh-faced staff ready to go out and have a blast on your marketing campaigns!

From Perth to Tasmania, Sydney to Queensland and everywhere in between, this is going to be a big start to your semesters. This blog is a place to keep updated with all the activities running nation-wide by all your SMA compatriots. I will post the best photos/highlights/bonus reports each week, and any other important things going on. 

We also support the sharing of great ideas- this is a national brain-storming hub, where you can show off the fantastic things you guys have come up with on your campus, and can inspire other ambassadors across the country!

Remember to check back here often; the best photos and campaign successes will win bonuses each week, and next week I'll be announcing the contents of the currently-mysterious overall grand prize for best campaign ambassadorship!
