Week 3: fabulous final stalls!

The third and final week of stall days is nearly finished. This week there was finally some sun in Victoria for our last teams, and they embraced the vitamin D-filled energy to make week three as good as the last two whirlwind weeks of Officeworks adventures.

Team Monash Caufield profited from the lovely al fresco feel to get the crowds involved in a spot of free things and limbo. Who could resist?

The teams at RMIT and Uni Melb had so much fun last week that they came back for more-  stall activity days during week 1 of semester!  And the Deakin Officeworkers (get it?) played dress-ups all week, getting people to race to get decked out in red and blue then pose for photos. The results were hilarious!

Tips Section:

1. Most of you are now into to your postering and lecturing focussed weeks. As this can be an extremely repetitive and frustrating task (especially when your posters are postered over), I would recommend  considering the following:

- The best time to poster to maximise views before they are covered over (this will vary significantly from campus to campus!)
- The best places to poster that will maximise views
- Creative locations to poster that capture attention (Within reason! Don't get your hard work torn down!)
- Plan out exactly how many posters you need to do each session so you-
a) Get them all done
b) Don't exceed allocated hours

2. Try and stick within the approx. 1 hour each per week postering guide. A few campuses had very long O Weeks and stall days so your hours are understandably high. However please remember that you are expected to be promotionally active for every hour of your timesheet. A long work day should result in you getting through a lot of materials. If there isn't evidence of this or you can't justify the long hours in your plans, highlights or photos then you won't be paid for them.

**You should aim for at least 25 posters per person per hour, and take photos of you and your work!!**

3. Remember that pre-lecture announcements and peer to peer should also be in your post-O Week plans for the two weeks following. Again, this will vary from campus to campus depending on the uni culture and what they allow. This should be discussed with me for each team.

Going over the expected hours is not the end of the world- if you feel that you need to in order to get all the materials out there then please let me know. We prefer a few hours over than you having to send anything back!

Keep up the great work everyone! One more week of bonuses to give out, as well as the final grand prize for the winning team!
